But she is soon back in control and using her stake in the company to maintain control over John’s life and finances. Unhappily married to Terese, with whom he has a daughter Charlotte, Darren’s role in the family is to make sure that wife and daughter are kept in the manner to which they have become accustomed – for which they are eternally ungrateful.
