Documentaries - About We Are Together
Watch the film on Saturday 2 August, 7pm on Channel 4.
Whilst studying filmmaking, Paul was stationed at the orphanage (where most of the children have lost their parents to AIDS) as part of a volunteer programme.
His film tells the story of the place, and of the drive of the young singers and their teachers to make it to London for a series of concerts.
Awards for the film include: winner of the Audience Award - Edinburgh International Film Festival 2007, winner of the Audience Award - Tribeca Film Festival 2007, winner of the Special Jury Prize - Tribeca Film Festival 2007, winner of the International Documentary Association Awards 2007 and winner of the Grierson Award 2007.
