Think Fast, Father Ted
With the Parochial House leaking and no money in the bank, Ted decides to get the roof fixed by running a raffle; all he needs is a decent prize. Luckily the parish hasn't been given anything to raffle since those two bags of coal in 1964 so Bishop Brennan stumps up for a brand new car.
Problems immediately arise when Ted puts a bit of a ding in the bonnet hitting a cyclist, and his endeavours to fix the bodywork with his trusty hammer don't really solve the situation, if anything they make things worse.
Faced with trying to replace the car or being murdered by Bishop Brennan, Ted hatches a fiendish plan. What if they borrowed Father Finnegan's car to use as the prize, and then fixed the raffle so they won the car back?
The day of the raffle arrives; the Church Hall is full, Father Billy 'The Spinmaster' O’Dwyer is on the wheels of steel and Dougal is primed to win the car. Even better, Father Finnegan has had a heart attack dancing so they don't even have to give the car back! However Ted's luck runs out after Jack borrows the car in the hunt for more booze and ends up halving its size, and Father O'Dwyer steals the raffle money to pay off his gambling debts, leaving the hole in the roof bigger than ever and more rain forecast.
