Stuart Matheson
I've had a total shift in mental attitude. My mentors had a totally different approach to life to me. They were irresponsible. Every minute of the day they wanted to have a laugh. That has rubbed off on me.
Before Faking It I was just drifting along. Faking It got me out of a rut. I have always written music for fun, but now I have got much more determination to push it professionally. I never really cared about money, but I was focused on earning enough to buy a house. Now I couldn't care less about that rubbish.
I try to go surfing every two or three weeks. I made loads of friends in St Agnes during filming and I have kept all of them. I'm really lucky, I've got two lives: St. Agnes and London. I would like to move down there, but there are no jobs. Having said that, I might just take that irresponsible decision. It hinges on my girlfriend. If she turned round and said she wanted to move, I would go like a shot.
