Q.Why did you want to take part in the series?
A. Because I feel it's my destiny to give a helping hand to all straight men! And it was good market research for my brand.

Q. What did you enjoy most about the programmes?
A. Being put into situations that I wouldn't normally find myself in. Mixing with people that I wouldn't normally mix with – settled family guys that I wouldn't normally spend time with and seeing their lives.

Q. What do you feel the men learnt from you?
A. Not to be embarrassed about themselves and not to be embarrassed about face products, or shopping. That it's OK to do it as a straight man.

Q. Do you think the good work will last?
A. I don't think it will all last, because there was a lot to take on in a week. But I just know that some of it will stick. I know it is because they're still texting me. They're texting me when they're doing the ironing or when they've cooked a meal, so I know it's working.

Q. What did you learn from the whole experience?
A. That I need to get out more. I did actually think that I live in this fashion bubble where I never think about my sexuality. In my day to day life my sex life is not an issue but it opened my eyes to the fact that not everyone's OK with it. You know, don't presume that all people know what being gay really means.

Q. Do you feel most straight men could learn something if they had a visit from the Fairy Godfathers?
A. I think ALL straight men, not just most straight men could learn something.

Q. What do you do when you're not being a Fairy Godfather?
A. I'm a fashion designer with my own brand of menswear. When I'm working I see fabric and yarn suppliers or I'll be sketching up ideas for my own collection. But even when I'm not at work, I'm constantly researching.

Q. What's your idea of a perfect romantic evening?
A. Probably at home, either mine or his, spending the whole day relaxing with the one I love.

Q. What's your favourite drink?
A. A very spicy Bloody Mary.

Q. What music do you like to listen to?
A. I've got very eclectic taste in music, from Wagner to the Smiths.

Q. Where do you get your ideas from?
A. From everywhere, everywhere. I'm constantly looking for ideas. It never stops.

Q. Where do you like to go shopping?
A. Anywhere that I happen to be, I'll shop anywhere. Even if I'm in a garden centre or at the gym, I'll always go and look in the shop and even if it's closed, I'll go and look in the window.

Q. What's your most treasured item of clothing?
A. At the moment, it's a deep v neck t-shirt with laser holes. It's one I designed myself.
