Cast - Current - Neela Rasgotra
Despite questioning whether she actually wanted to be a doctor when she first got to County, Neela decided to stick around and has most recently begun a surgical rotation.
Neela is Indian but grew up in England, and she's been best friends with Abby Lockhart since they were med students together.
Less reserved than when she first started out, Neela's still quite private when it comes to her personal life.
Although she wasn't always the most tactful of people to begin with, that didn't seem to deter would-be suitors.
Pratt was more than a little flirty with her at first, and she certainly caught the eye of Dr Michael Gallant.
So much so, in fact, that they began to get close just before he was posted out to Iraq. They got together on one of his return visits and married pretty swiftly after that.
Although he'd finished his time out in Iraq, Gallant re-enlisted and was tragically killed by a bomb, leaving Neela as a widow.
She's never been short of admirers, however.
Roommate Dr Ray Burnett started to fall in love with her, she shared a drunken snog with Gates, and later found out that Chief of Surgery Dr Dubenko had a soft spot for her, as did a female med student!
