There was a chilled silence as Westley read out this week's instructions from the Eden Gods. For a week where the motto is 'just have fun', the Edenites world's had suddenly been turned upside down.
"As leader you have 1 hour to nominate 2 people for expulsion from Eden. This decision is final. You must not leave the Leader's Hut or consult with any of the other Edenites. After that hour is up you will proceed to hutcam to present your final vote to the viewers who will hold the final vote on who will leave Eden. Then you must proceed to the Leader's Circle to tell the others your decision."
Anger, disbelief and shock were the Edenite's reactions.
"This is like our family. This is our life, but for the viewers it's just a game. I don't think they understand what it's like for us. This is going to be like taking away one of your brothers or sisters," said an angry Timo.
Which is probably why this is a particularly hard decision for Westley, who has been in and out of foster homes all his life. He has already experienced first hand what it is like to be torn away from his real life brothers and sisters.
"This is just messed up... maybe I'm still asleep and I'm going to wake up in a minute, " said a stunned Westley.
But for whoever ends up staying, it is certain that things will never be the same again for the group. Guilt for those who stay and fear that this is something that may happen again will weigh heavily on the Edenites.
