After a roundabout trip to the hospital during which Earl was shocked, dropped, lost and possibly molested by a she-trucker, he was finally under the semi-professional care of Camden County Hospital. Not only that, the soap opera in his head has now developed its own theme tune and even Paris Hilton as a guest star - awesome!

Back in the real world Catalina has found Earl's list in the car park at Club Chubby, but Randy and Joy's attempts to snap him out of the coma are proving less-than successful. But where the twin lures of boobs and bacon fail maybe prepubescent faith healer Gerald O'Dell AKA God's Little Finger can succeed?

Having healed him once before Randy convinces the pint-sized prophet to come out of retirement and bring Earl back to life. However Gerald's powers aren't what they're cracked up to be as it turns out the faith burning bright in his breast was all scam dreamed up by his dad. Whilst this is good news for Gerald who's been feeling guilty about his powers, it's bad news for Earl...

As his heartbeat slowly fails, his imagination creates a promotion to take him away from his friends and family, but with heaven beckoning things are beginning to happen in the real world. As a tearful Randy crosses off 'Made a Healer Boy Scared of His Own Hands' as he says a final goodbye to his brother Earl's heart rate revives, and it gets stronger with each new thing ticked off the list!
