The Wedding
On the day of Karen Darling’s wedding emotions are running high. Tripp is hurt that Patrick has moved out, the mother of Brian’s lovechild is back and Karen might just call the whole thing off as she’s still in love with Nick...

Love is a difficult thing. Tripp may love his children but his controlling attitude has driven Patrick to side with Simon Elder. And it’s an opportunity Elder is quick to exploit. Not only does he make Patrick arrest Tripp’s business partners but has him believing his father told his wife Ellen about Carmelita out of spite – even though it was Elder all along! Patrick is lucky his wife loves being a Darling more than him and agrees to tolerate his affair.

Sadly for Freddy it’s when he tells Karen that he loves her and not her family name that she decides it’s time for a divorce (a world record 45 minutes after the vows) Nick has to get the annulment signed during the reception and when he’s alone with Karen she confesses her love for him... he’s not so quick to back away. Is there a chance they’ll get together?

More of a chance than Brian and his estranged lover Andrea. Despite sleeping with Brian she decides to leave New York and take their son with her. Brian is determined to get revenge, just like his own father Tripp who resolves that Elder meddling with his family is the last straw and wants Nick to destroy his rival once and for all.
