Tripp Darling
When Bill CLinton declines to become the Darling Family lawyer, Tripp turns to Nick George, son of 'Dutch' his trusted lawyer of 20 years. Nick is the principled and honest man he wishes any of his offspring were, and Tripp charms him in to being the family lawyer (and $10 million helps too).

Tripp loves his family and is constantly disappointed by their idiotic behaviour: his daugher Karen married four times, his youngest son Jeremy the waster and Patrick a future senator if only he could give up the transvestites.
Tripp draws Nick in close to the family to protect them, but does he have alterior motives? Tripp is aware Nick's father Dutch had an affair with his wife Letitia, so did he murder Dutch in revenge? Are his business dealings entirly above the law?
