Lynette Scarvo is astonished to be visited by the Child Protection Services, who have taken Kayla's accusations of abuse seriously with the evidence of the unfortunate slapping incident on tape. Susan and Mike are unable to decide on a suitable name for their new bouncing baby boy but soon take inspiration from one of the doctors and decide to name him Connor. However, when Mike finds out his beloved grandfather has passed away, he asks Susan if they can change the baby's name to his in tribute. Undercover police are at work at Gabrielle's home, bugging Ellie's bedroom so they are able to find out who is supplying her with the narcotics. Police soon find their main suspect and alert Gabrielle that they are about to make their arrests. Gabrielle has become too attached to Ellie and is unable to let her friend be taken away by police so she quickly tells Ellie to run away. But what consequence will this have for Carlos' probation?
Meanwhile, Kayla is still intent on sabotaging the family and burns herself with hair tongs, blaming it on Lynette. Lynette is swiftly arrested by police but Tom comes to the rescue by tricking Kayla into a confession. He is then forced into the heartbreaking decision of sending her off to live with her grandparents.
Bree is still unable to forgive Orson for his indiscretion with Edie, even when he heroically defends her honour.
Wayne confronts Katherine about Dylan's mystery missing scar. Adam soon comes to her rescue and suggests that all three of them leave Wysteria Lane and disappear. His plans however are soon cut short when he accidentally crosses path with Wayne...
