TV Shows - Trick or Treat: Series 2 - About
Trick or Treat returned for a second series, but this time the game was raised for all involved including celebrity guest David Tennant.
As before, members of the public made a blind choice of a Trick or Treat card. If they picked 'treat', Derren used his skills to ensure something pleasant happened to them; if they picked 'trick', the result was comparatively dark.
Either way, the volunteers had no idea which card had been chosen and were filmed secretly as they were subjected to Derren's mind games.
"In effect they sign a Faustian contract that allows me to do anything I want", said Derren.
The scope for paranoia increased in this second series, with none of the participants – all of whom applied online – knowing they had been chosen for the show.
With Derren never far away, all the participants embarked on a unique journey, where a combination of fear and hope led them to their own darkly dramatic finale.
