 #521 Pacey seeks advice from Jack as to whether or not he should tell Audrey about the 'unwanted' kiss he shared with Alex. Jack doesn’t see why it would be a big deal until he meets Alex, when he warns Pacey that he's 'in trouble.' Alex drops by the apartment Pacey is subletting from Brecher, ostensibly to apologize to Pacey for the kiss. She admits she takes getting what she wants for granted, and she tells Pacey she respects his relationship. She offers to hire Audrey back. Audrey is skeptical when Pacey tells her that she's been rehired. Audrey senses that Alex was hitting on Pacey, and Pacey's avoidance of the issue further convinces her. Audrey blows up and leaves, announcing she's quitting. Later, Pacey worries about Alex working late and walking home by herself, telling her about what happened to Joey. Alex accepts Pacey's offer to walk her home. Pacey tells Alex if she's interested in taking over Brecher's apartment to stop by anytime. They share a hug that lingers a bit too long before Pacey leaves. Pacey is surprised to find Alex at his door at around 2 in the morning to look at his apartment. It's an awkward moment as Alex admits she's made a mistake, and tries to leave. But when Pacey tells her it's okay, she asks him to pour the champagne. As Alex seductively reminds Pacey about the kiss they shared, Audrey walks in. Fuming, Audrey takes off, and Pacey chases her. They argue, and Pacey tries to defend himself but to no avail. Audrey takes off, hurt and angry. When Pacey gets back to his apartment, Alex turns up the heat, playfully caressing Pacey. Pacey finally gives in and kisses Alex passionately. But she abruptly stops him. The next day, Pacey tries to call Audrey, but she won't talk to him...
