#411 - The Tao of Dawson
Pacey's a bit unnerved when Dawson admits that he has feelings for Gretchen. So, when Pacey takes a road trip with his sister, he hastily encourages her to hook up with her fun-loving ex, whom they're en route to see. But he's conflicted when he discovers his sister's college boyfriend isn't the person Pacey always believed him to be.
Meanwhile, Joey has an even worse weekend when she's stuck in a storage room with her worst enemy...Drue Valentine. Left alone in Capeside, Dawson watches love bloom between Grams and Brooks... but worries that Grams is destined to lose another loved one sooner than she thinks.
#412 - The Tao of Pacey
When Joey helps plan a surprise party for Pacey's birthday, she ends up getting more surprises than she bargained for. Meanwhile, Pacey's family creates a nightmare situation for all involved. Dawson's disappointed that Gretchen keeps putting off their first official date, and is dismayed when she insists they keep their relationship under wraps. Forced to miss the party finishing up her community service, Jen's mood brightens when she winds up working with Tobey.
#413 - Hopeless
Mrs. Valentine agrees to allow Joey a couple days off work for the senior trip... on an unusual condition. She and Pacey are forced to spend the evening with Drue and Anna Evans, a wealthy teen from another school... and make sure that Drue is on his best behaviour. This is naturally easier said than done, and Joey's more than a little concerned when Anna seems more interested in Pacey than in Drue. Meanwhile, Dawson's humiliated when an evening out with Gretchen and her friends only serves to accentuate the gap between their ages, and Tobey extends an invitation to Jack.
#414 - A Winter's Tale
While the rest of the class is on the ski trip, Dawson stays behind to care for a near-death Mr. Brooks, but he's overwhelmed when he's asked to make an impossibly hard decision. Meanwhile, there's a lot more than skiing going on when the senior trip doesn't go exactly as planned. The evening takes an unexpectedly romantic turn for best friends Jack and Jen... while Pacey and Joey find their own ways to keep warm on the cold, snowy night.
#415 - Four Stories
The morning after, Joey and Pacey discover they've overslept and missed the bus back to Capeside. While they wait for the next one, the couple find themselves confronted with the tensions that accompany the latest development of their relationship. Meanwhile, as punishment for breaking into her hotel mini-bar during the class ski trip, Mr. Kasdan decides to send Jen to a psychologist where she can discuss her "inner teen issues."
Back in Capeside, Joey and Dawson's paths collide and they spend an evening catching up on the past weekend and its many happenings. Sensing a change in Joey's demeanour, he poses the unthinkable question, forcing Joey to consider whether honesty is the best policy.
