The Seder
Cheryl hosts a Passover Seder, during which an old woman faints, a child chokes, and Larry ruffles feathers by inviting a known sex offender and picking a fight with a local doctor he believes has been stealing his newspaper…
Larry’s newspaper keeps going astray, or as he’d have you believe, it’s being stolen by Dr. Mark. While buying a replacement paper, Larry bumps into a man called Rick whom Larry suspects is the bald sex offender that’s rumoured to have moved into the neighbourhood.
After lending a helping hand to improve Larry’s golfing techniques, Larry’s quite endeared to sex offender Rick and invites him to a Passover Seder at his place. At the Seder, Larry plagues Dr. Mark with accusations of newspaper felony until the doctor leaves after being paged by the hospital – Larry thinks this is a hollow excuse.
Rick causes an elderly neighbour to faint, then stirs up the already choppy waters of the Seder by snitching on Jake, Jeff’s brother-in-law. In the furore, Sammy starts to have breathing difficulties, which causes Susie to shout, “Does anyone know moth to mouth?” “I do,” says sex offender Rick.
