The Christ Nail
Larry unwisely purchases a brassiere for his housekeeper, Maria and quickly engenders the wrath of her vengeful husband, Jesus. The only things that can save him are a pair of noisy orthotics and a prop from a popular film…
Sporting some very squeaky orthotics, Larry asks his handyman Jesus to attach a mezuzah (a Hebrew parchment) to the doorframe of his rented house before Nat David comes over. Ever the man to impart his wisdom, Larry goes onto recommend Jesus wears orthotics to cure his foot pain. Larry also recommends his housekeeper Maria wears a bra, as you do.
Offended by Larry’s request for Maria to wear a bra, Jesus quits leaving Larry to hastily put up the mezuzah. Without a nail to hand, Larry grabs a Passion of Christ nail, that Cheryl’s father is wearing as a necklace, and hammers it into the mezuzah and the doorframe.
To make up for his apparent “blasphemy”, Larry buys Cheryl’s dad a replacement Passion of Christ nail. The movie prop and a pair of squeaky orthotics then go onto save Larry from a brutal attack by Jesus, of all people.
