The Blind Date
Larry refuses to ride in the front seat of Ben’s car, causing a huge fight. Charitable Larry gets Cheryl’s car washed by a group of mentally challenged men and then sets up blind Mike on a blind date…
Ben Stiller picks up Larry on his way to dropping off his wife Christine at yoga. After Christine leaves the car, Larry refuses to move from his backseat to the front seat. “I’m not going a drive you around like a chauffeur,” says Ben, which creates an almighty argument for the remaining journey to rehearsal and leads to Ben quitting The Producers.
There’s more car related shenanigans going on when Larry befriends a group of mentally challenged men who wash his motor. Then Larry’s car runs out of gas, which leads Larry into making yet another friend - a burkha wearing woman called Haboos. Larry has the ingenious idea of setting her up with his blind friend Mike.
Mike’s date doesn’t exactly go to plan, but there was little chance of that happening with Larry chaperoning him. Still, at least Mike didn’t have a fantasy about Susie in bondage wear.
