Ben’s Birthday Party
At rehearsal, Larry reconnects with Mike the blind guy, who has a “model” girlfriend and a thriving cabaret career. Breast-obsessed Larry insults his friends and wreaks havoc at co-star Ben Stiller’s birthday party…
Larry’s practicing dancing moves with The Producers choreographer when he’s reintroduced to Michael - a blind man he and Richard Lewis helped move furniture for three years ago – who’s the rehearsal pianist for the show. Michael introduces Larry to his girlfriend Rhonda, who claims to be a model, but she’s quite clearly not and Larry lets Michael know as much.
At co-star Ben Stiller’s belated birthday party, Larry manages to upset a hell of a lot of people. First, Larry’s somewhat less than enthusiastic reaction to Susie’s studded sweatshirts causes some distress. Secondly, Larry’s conversation bores Cady (another Producers co-star). Thirdly, Larry makes a kid shout “I love tits”. And for his final act, Larry refuses to sing Happy Birthday to Ben and then pokes him in the eye with a kebab skewer. Bravo.
Things aren’t going to well for Larry and when Cheryl catches Larry feeling a friend’s new breasts they certainly don’t get any better. Never one to let bygones be bygones, Susie then takes another pot-shot at Larry – no-one disses her sweaters and gets away with it!
