Opening Night
After renewing their vows, Larry flies to New York to star in The Producers on Broadway. Larry gets the stink-eye from an overzealous fan and tries to work things out with Schwimmer in the hope of saving Mel Brooks’ musical…
One cast relationship is reaching breaking point and one has improved tenfold, as Larry flies out to Broadway for the opening night of The Producers. David Schwimmer’s anger at Larry increases when he loses his watch, while Cady’s OCD brings her closer to LD.
With the tenth anniversary imminent, Larry tries it on with a woman he meets in a hotel bar. After hearing that “spicy food makes a man’s cum taste delicious,” Larry laces his meal with Tabasco sauce, but can’t control the other side-effects of the spicy condiment. For once, Larry is outdone in the nutter stakes by a fan who unrelentingly pours scorn upon poor him.
After rejecting Cady’s amorous advances – she is a Republican, after all – Larry presents David with his lost watch in a bid to heal their rift before the curtain call. It’s all going well until Larry forgets his lines, but everything’s not lost.
