The Nanny From Hell
Larry commits a faux pas after a pool party, insulting Hugh, one of the restaurant’s investors. And then there’s “the nanny from hell”, who takes baths with her socks on…
Hugh Mellon, one of the investors in the restaurant, invites Larry and the rest of the investors to a pool party he’s hosting. Larry’s attempts at going to the bathroom at the party are thwarted by the Mellon’s nanny who is under strict instructions not to let anybody in the house, but regardless, Larry uses the indoor facilities. Back outside, Hugh’s son is being dried off after a dip in the pool and Larry can’t help but notice that he has a huge penis.
Larry can’t help himself and tells Hugh, “I saw your son at the pool. The kid’s got some penis on him.” Hugh doesn’t take Larry’s voyeuristic observation very well. Actually, he doesn’t take the news that Larry used his toilet well either and fires his son’s nanny.
Larry feels responsible for the nanny’s dismissal and gets her a job interview with Jeff and Susie. Though many people, including Larry, have considered it, no-one in Curb history has ever tried it – the nanny attempts to kill Susie. Thanks goodness for sponge cakes.
