Curb Your Enthusiasm

The Grand Opening
Larry finds out the restaurant’s chef was hired “under false pretences,” having misrepresented his baldness. During a schoolyard dodgeball game, Larry goes to battle against a powerful restaurant critic and inadvertently injures him. Cheryl battles a violent case of diarrhoea – and Jeff’s tough wife, Susie. With the grand opening at hand, the owners finally hire an acceptable chef – a “survivor” – but have to deal with his colourful personality…

Mary, Joseph & Larry
Larry proves himself an incompetent Christmas tipper, while both he and Jeff prove themselves incompetent at creating believable alibis for the messes they get into. After offending the housekeeper, Larry – still suffering from a scratchy throat – attempts to make it up for them with a little Christmas cheer…

Krazee-Eyez Killa
Larry, who meets Wanda’s rap-star fiancé at a party and discusses his lyrics and peculiar tastes, is terrified of betraying his confidence. Jeff’s wife Susie is insulted when Larry turns down a tour of their new house. Cheryl throws out a sports jacket that Larry needs for his role in Martin Scorsese’s movie and things grow even worse when an undesirable hair gets lodged in his throat…

The Corpse-Sniffing Dog
After a make-up dinner with friends, Larry refuses to thank the woman whose husband picked up the check. Jeff’s return home is ruined by his allergies to Sammy’s beloved corpse-sniffing-dog. Larry, always the life-saver, finally hires a chef he’s satisfied with for the restaurant, then tries to talk some sense into Jeff’s young daughter – who may or may not have a speech impediment…

The Special Section
There’s a death in Larry’s family while he’s shooting a Scorsese film in New York, and he doesn’t find out about it until two days after the funeral. After the initial shock, he uses his loss to evade a number of undesirable social events. Richard Lewis accuses Larry of East-Indian giving his meditation mantra, and Larry is incensed to hear that the cemetery has a “special section”.

Larry chats to Ned from the Three Amigos.
The Terrorist Attack
With the rumoured threat of a terrorist attack, Larry can’t decide whether to leave town or attend an Alanis Morissette benefit concert for Cheryl’s pet cause. Larry keeps snubbing Paul Reiser’s wife, Mindy, so attempts to get her back on side by telling her some juicy pieces of gossip, which has disastrous effects…

The Nanny From Hell
Larry commits a faux pas after a pool party, insulting Hugh, one of the restaurant’s investors. And then there’s “the nanny from hell”, who takes baths with her socks on…

Club Soda and Salt
Dismayed over the dinner party fiasco, the chef quits Larry’s restaurant, so the investors scramble to find a replacement. Larry’s jealous over Cheryl’s new male friend, and Cheryl’s nonplussed by Larry’s fancy new recipe for stain removal…

The Benadryl Brownie
Larry and Cheryl plan a dinner party with the chef from his restaurant. Due to poor reception on Larry’s new cell phone, a simple misunderstanding has disastrous consequences for Richard’s girlfriend…

Chet’s Shirt
Larry and Jeff invest in a new restaurant with Ted Danson. Larry, who doesn’t want to go to his dentist’s dinner party, decides to skip out and shop for waiter’s uniforms instead. He buys snazzy matching shirts for Ted and himself, but Ted’s is torn. Feelings are hurt: Ted doesn’t want the shirt, Larry doesn’t like the Tin Man, the dentist is upset and chaos ensues…
