The Wire
Larry has to do something he’s never done before: Be on the charm offensive. He needs permission from neighbours Dean and Phyliss to bury a wire in his garden that’s become a bit of a nuisance. However, Dean’s demand to meet a former Seinfeld star causes all sorts of complications…
To butter his neighbours up so they give Larry planning permission, Larry recommends Dean to be Jeff’s lawyer, but this isn’t good enough for Dean, he wants a meeting with Seinfeld star Julia Louis-Dreyfus. The request that Dean has left Larry with raises the reoccurring issue of “the cut-off”. Larry, full of rage, rings Jeff at 10:20pm to voice his disapproval of Dean. However, Jeff’s wife Susie informs Larry that 10pm is the cut-off point for phone calls.
The arranged meeting for Dean and Julia goes awry when Dean fails to turn up. It’s not all bad though because Julia buys a bracelet from Phyliss, which looks uncannily like the one that Cheryl wanted from the jewellers back in The Bracelet episode.
Coincidentally, Cheryl’s now actually got her mitts on the bracelet she once desired, but this comes at a time when Julia’s lost the same model of bracelet. And then there’s Dean to contend with, who’s yet to meet Julia.
