Interior Decorator
Larry is not a happy bunny when a bout of unusual generosity results in a lengthy wait at the doctor’s. Larry’s spitting feathers by the time he sees his doctor and tells him about their shoddy office policy which leads to a missed meeting with Diane Keaton and a whole lot more…
All is not lost with Diane Keaton (or so Larry thinks) when Larry’s introduced to his new interior decorator, Carmen. As Diane Keaton’s one of Carmen’s clients, Larry naturally assumes she’ll give him her phone number, but no, she refuses to give it for “privacy” reasons, so Larry fires her.
Another person in Larry’s firing line is his lawyer, who also happens to be the wife of his doctor, John Lynch M.D. Larry does not take the news that she’s billed him $1500 for making a few notes very well: “I’m going to take my own notes and I’m going to shove them up my own ass.” Larry then has to perform the humiliating act of asking the lawyer he’s just fired if he can loan some money off her because he has no money for the car park attendant.
At the rescheduled meeting with Diane Keaton, Larry has a run-in with his ex-interior decorator, Carmen, which culminates in a grapple, another smashed lamp, a kiss between the two of them and a hefty doctor’s bill.
