As is always the case with Larry David, the smallest details have the biggest consequences, so when Larry ignores a golf ball that rolls towards him he pays big time later on…
Larry’s at his beloved golf club and about to tee off when a man wearing a cowboy hat drops a ball that rolls towards him, but he ignores it. Gil, another golf player from the club and a former porn actor, invites Larry and Cheryl to a party. Talking of porn, Larry visits Jeff at the hospital before he has heart surgery. Jeff asks Larry to get rid of his adult magazines in case something happens to him.
Larry’s actions at the party – his refusal to take off his shoes, complete with his late arrival and the fact that he’s already eaten despite the party being of the dinner variety – leave Gil and his wife Mel quite riled. And then there’s Brian to contend with, the cowboy hat wearing man from the golf course whose ball Larry ignored. After a stand-off, a dropped lighter, and a smashed lamp, Larry and Cheryl are asked to leave.
The next day Larry undertakes the porn mission set by Jeff and discovers a porno VHS entitled ‘Motel Dick’, which features Gil. As any warm blooded male would do, Larry begins to watch it. Surely nothing could go wrong with such innocent viewing pleasure?
