Jeff Greene
First and foremost, Jeff is Larry’s rock. He’s Larry’s manager and is “always available”. Larry divulges Jeff with information that he’d never tell his wife, while Jeff, likewise, discusses things with Larry that he’d certainly not talk about with his venomous wife Susie. Together they’re a mischievous combo, covering each other’s backs by conjuring up madcap excuses to get out of trouble; excuses which inevitably lead to much bigger pieces of trouble.
Jeff can be a noble and very generous man at times. He listens to Larry’s self-pitying woes despite Larry copping a feel of his mother’s breasts; he looks out for his friends by blagging them into the Playboy Mansion; and he even sponsors underprivileged kids who set fire set to summer camps. What a guy!
Jeff’s wife Susie sometimes fails to see this side of him, probably due to his sex obsession, and so often endearingly calls him a “fat f***”. Charming. At one point it looks like the pair are set to divorce after Jeff takes a fancy to Lucy, an ex-girlfriend of Larry’s, but the pair eventually re-unite. Still, Jeff’s daughter Sammy prefers their dog Oscar to her father.
