He describes improbable scenarios with a straight face and grabs hold of any chance to expand on a subject and stretch its credibility to breaking point. His legendary improvisational skills have been much in evidence on a number of TV shows from Whose Line Is It Anyway to Have I Got News For You.
Paul O'Grady (aka Lily Savage)

Acid tongued Liverpudlian comic whose alter-ego, Lily Savage is rough as nails and queen of the filthy innuendo. 'The Birkenhead Slapper' has won numerous television awards and hosted shows ranging from Blankety Blank to Lily Live! Paul O'Grady currently hosts The New Paul O'Grady Show on Channel 4 which has proved to be yet another phenomenal success.
Peter Kay

The Bolton born comedian who has never forgotten his roots. Shot to superstardom with the success of Channel 4's Phoenix Nights and has never looked back. His down to earth approach and unique observations on northern life has taken him to the hearts of the nation and he topped a poll by Jongleurs comedy club in 2005 to find Britain's funniest person.
Phill Jupitus

British comedian who has become a regular on numerous television and radio shows over the past few years. Started out as a 'performance poet' supporting Billy Bragg in the mid-1980s but has also toured extensively as stand-up and released a live DVD, Quadrophobia. Best known for his hard-hitting, in-your-face quips on BBC2's Never Mind the Buzzcocks
Phil Kay

Kay is the energetic, rapid-fire comedian who first came to prominence in 1989 when he won 'So You Think You're Funny', the newcomers competition at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. Since then he has appeared on numerous television shows from 'Phil Kay Presents' to 'Edinburgh Nights'.
Phyllis Diller

Phyllis Diller is one of the pioneers of female stand-up comedy. She created the stage character of a wild-haired, oddly-dressed housewife who was ugly but didn't realise it, and who spent her time cackling and waving a long cigarette holder while making jokes about a husband named "Fang." In her heyday, Diller achieved a record that still stands today in the Guinness Book of World Records for delivering 12 punch lines per minute.
