the frontline of the British hiphop revival are the Audio Bullies.
Simon (MC) and Tom (decks) belt out scratchy, boysie hiphop with house
leanings (not hard house, mind, decent house).
The first single off their 'Ego War' album, 'We Don't Care'
is out this week. The boyz performed it live on Born Sloppy with the
legendary Bez in support. Watch it here

disturbing day-in-the-life of a thuggish ten year old.

We caught Simon fiddling with his mobile in a swing chair backstage
and did this to him:
What have you been up to? Last few months, just a
few little gigs here and there. We did Steve Lamacq set with a live
band. The album – Ego War - we finished probably about three
months. That’s coming out late March. What you been
listening to lately? The Coral...a few house records on my
decks - Just now I’ve been listening to the new Snoop Dog tunes
off the new album. The Neptunes produced a few of them. What’s
the first record you ever bought? Cyprus Hill ‘Hits
From The Bong’. Who do you rate at the moment?
Missy Eliot is good at the moment – I like a lot of the production
she’s done with Timbaland. Dr Dre I just really rate his production.
