He’s
won a zillion of comedy awards. He knows his Star Wars. And has been
beaten up many times. He had the crowd at The Roost laughing until
they pissed milk. Ross stop it already. You win. You clearly
are the UK’s funniest funny person.

We slapped Ross into a comfy chair and processed him through
our patented micro-interview technology.
Tell us one amazing fact The mum of one of the Monkees
invented Tippex. What's your tipple? J2O and lemonade.
I don't drink. What you been listening to this week?
The new Badly Drawn Boy CD. It's very good. Who's your favourite
Dr.Who? I'm a bit partial to Sylvester McCoy because I met
him and he was quite happy to pretend to be Dr Who while I pretended
to be various bad guys. I don't think Baker would do that. I think
Baker would turn on you. But he's happy to sign books and
stuff It's one thing signing books it's another being 'The
Doctor' for your pleasure. True. Can you moonwalk?
Unfortunately I only wear rubber shoes with lots of traction so only
in icy weather. Breakdance? No. Electric
boogaloo? What like 'boogaloo shrimp'. Yes I can. Human
beatbox? Not without a mic and PA system. And a rapper. And
a synth. Favourite sandwich? Prawns with a Mari Rose
sauce. It's like a classier Prawn cocktail. First record?
"Oh Blimey It's Christmas" by Frank Sidebottom Most embarrassing
gig you've ever been to? Lindesfarne. Middlesbrough Town
Hall Which 80's retro act would you pay to see? Joe
Dolce, I believe he is doing a comeback. There was a big article about
him in The Times. Apparently he's a very deep man now. Friend of Jasper
Carrot. Ever been in a fight? Yes. Loads of times.
A guy in Prague jumped on stage and beat the living shit out of me
(he didn't really speak English). Another time I was punched by a
woman who was wearing a diamond ring at a gig. I've actually been
fights a lot where people have beaten me up and I've gone: "Woah,
steady now" pretending to be all Buddhist, and Kung Fu, saying I must
not fight back, but actually being punched quite badly. What
did you dream of doing as kid? Buying loads of space hoppers
and joining the Dagenham Girl's Pipers
