The Tangerine Factor
An angered Sheldon seeks Mandarin lessons from the multi-lingual Howard in order to confront the local Chinese restaurant about his suspicions that they're shockingly passing off the orange chicken for the tangerine chicken. For once Sheldon's intellect lets him down, as his pidgin Mandarin lets him down when he inadvertently calls Leonard a "syphilitic donkey".
It seems like the syphilitic donkey's luck might well be in when Penny reveals that she's broken up with her boyfriend Mike because of a blog detailing their sex life. Leonard proves he really is a donkey when he accidentally convinces Penny to give Mike another chance, but, luckily for Leonard, Mike's already moved on - he was caught with another woman's legs around his neck.
Leonard finally plucks up the courage to ask out Penny and Penny says yes - but not quite as enthusiastically as the sentence suggests! After Sheldon sheds light on Leonard and Penny's relationship using the cumbersome "Schrodinger's Cat" theory, the pair agree that the cat is indeed alive - in other words, they're hot for each other. Meanwhile, Sheldon confrontation with the Chinese restaurant doesn't quite go to plan.
