In an attempt to pay for faster downloads in their flat Leonard and Sheldon, physicists at CalTech, decide to become sperm donors to facilitate a broadband upgrade. Naturally being genii they attend a high IQ sperm donation unit, but Sheldon gets cold feet over the possibility of his boys turning out a toddler who wouldn't know whether to use an integral or a differential to solve the area under a curve.

Heading back to their apartment block, the pair discover that they've got a lovely new and most importantly female, neighbour. Penny's a definite improvement on previous tenant Louis/Louise, the 200-pound transvestite with a skin condition.

Having taken an immediate shine to Penny Leonard invites her over for some Indian food, but not before talking about his colon, an internationally renowned icebreaking topic. The two find out that Penny has an ex-boyfriend; an ex-boyfriend who has her television. With hope in his heart, Leonard drags Sheldon along to get back Penny's TV. However, tackling big bruising men with muscles the size of Sheldon and Leonard's combined waistlines is not really their forte. So back to the apartment block they returned, empty handed and without a pair of trousers between them.

Unperturbed Leonard still wants Penny, regardless of the fact that she seems to have gone out with the biggest meathead of a man ever seen. At least he still has the dream of their babies being smart and beautiful, if imaginary.
