Davina's Bio

Self-confessed Big Brother fanatic Davina has been with Big Brother since the very beginning. She's crowned eight Big Brother winners, five Celebrity Big Brother winners and controlled 169 unruly housemates. She's even managed to squeeze in three pregnancies and still look fabulous in black! Davina *is* 'Big Mother'.

Destined for showbusiness, Davina has had a varied career, including jobs as a nightclub hostess, model booker, singer and dancer - featuring in Kylie Minogue's "Word Is Out" music video. And true to her French roots, she's even sporting a beret!

Davina started her presenting career in 1992 with a regular 2am slot on MTV and her own late night show. In 1993, she began presenting the very cheeky dating show "God's Gift" on ITV, and by 1995 she was hosting Channel 4's "Streetmate", playing matchmaker to lovesick singletons all over the UK.

Davina began presenting Big Brother in the very first series back in 2000, most famously interviewing 'Nasty' Nick Bateman after *that* incident and crowning Craig Phillips as the first UK winner.

As well as working on Big Brother, Davina famously bungee-jumped over the Grand Canyon for "Don't Try This At Home", presented "Popstars: The Rivals" (where Girls Aloud were born), and hosted her own chat show, "Davina". She also spends much of her time on charity work, including Comic Relief and Sport Relief.
