Tom 's Bio

Tom Thurlow, the newest edition to the Big Brother presenting family, has crammed a lot into his 18 tender years on this planet.

After being born, Tom learnt to speak, eat, read and stuff and then at the age of 13 he started his own company selling signed first print books over the internet. This little enterprise was so successful that after flogging tons of Philip Pullman books through his website and Ebay - he received death threats from fundamentalist Christian groups in the US. Tom fully appreciated the irony of this situation.

After he left school at the age of 16 with some GCSE's and an ambition that burned brighter than the sun he decided to pick up a camera with a mate and presented and produced his own show, "Hollyoaks on the Streets". It became a sensation on the website Bebo and Tom found himself becoming a little internet celebrity. He now presides over two groups on Bebo with over 100,000 members and gets paid to run Bebo groups for Disney and Tesco. He was also a contestant on ITV show Tycoon but we all make mistakes.

And now, Big Brother has snared him for his own show "Big Brother on the Streets" where Tom visits various cities around this fair Isle to see what the great British public think of what's been going on in Big Brother. Tom is a huge Big Brother fan and describes the job as a "dream come true - I literally cried with happiness for 3 days solid when I got the job". A day less than us when we found we bagged him as presenter.

When Tom isn't being an internet entrepreneur and presenting he likes to saunter around his home town of Cheltenham being a local celeb and drinking champagne. He has aspirations to front his own trash chat show appropriately titled "Thurlow" with a Ricki Lake/Jerry Springer vibe. Tom is very tall, likes ketchup in his bacon sandwiches and is in love with Stephanie from Big Brother's cousin, Emma.
