Maysoon is a 28-year-old model who wants to prove that not all the girls in her business are stuck-up and self-centred.

She labels herself 'single' but she's been on and off with her boyfriend for nine years. They're on a break at the moment, but she still loves him. She met him in a supermarket, so she knows how to check out other guys...

Maysoon has worked as a model for the past eight years and is proud of her achievements. She has appeared in music videos for the likes of Sean Paul and Simon Webbe.

Maysoon is bright, polite and fluent in Arabic. She is a modern girl but also respects her parents and their old-fashioned values. She is dignified and says she will not discuss her sex life.

Ambitions-wise, Maysoon says she would love to be a 'super something'. Whether that 'something' is a model, presenter or an actress doesn't bother her.

  13. I have watched BB all the time even the live shows.. May has had a hard time missing the out side world... I think she was one of the only house mates you had like never bitched about anyone or talked behind peoples back... Im sad to see her go but if she was that sad and upset.. its better for her if she wants to leave...

  20. She's left, but if you think about it it won't have a major impact on the rest of the house - she never did anything anyway so if she's not there they're hardly going to notice! And for the viewers, it won't make much difference to them either - she'll be even more quieter than she was in person now she's not even there! Sorry, but her exit won't really affect the house, even if the housemates act concerned and upset - it's called acting.

  22. I didnt really like Maysoon, Because she was so quite, You didnt really get know her. I didnt even relize she was in the house till Darnell said " I Chose maysoon To Be part of my heavenaly House mates. " Thats how quite she was, I Think she should of spoke up more. I know people say get luke out or get rex out but a BB house without bitching or arguing or conflict wouldnt be good Television would it, basically a 'happy house' would be completely mind numbing

I think that it may be a bit selfish because think of all those people that stood in those lines for hours just to see if they could get in the BB house! But she may just miss her fsmily!   52. I am sad to see her go, but no real point in staying if she really was not happy. I did feel bad for the housemates because they all looked sad to see her go. I think she was the one housemate that everyone truly liked. She was stunning and brought a lot of class to the house. It was nice to see someone who had respect for herself and everyone else in the house.

She seems like one of the few housemates with real intelligence, she just didn't get the opportunity to show what she's got as all the other housemates mostly just go on and on about who's friends with who and who's most likely to nominate them. Typical... another BB quitter that after goiing through all the entry freebies, gets her free holiday away from the press before her entry into the house and then thinks I've had my freebies, don't want to get boo'd and therefore skips away like a rat from a sinking ship. Some people appear to be so self seeking for the likelyhood of the celebrity lifestyle, that they forget that celebrity status comes at the behest of the public. We will either like them or loath them. Obviously Maysoon couldn't bear the thought that some of the public may not like her. What a quitter and waste of C4 funds. I hope that she doesn't get the air time on BBLB and that C4 charge her for all her new clothes, luggage, holidays etc etc. It's people like her that will eventually corrode the show into dust in the long run.

I am really upset Maysoon has left the house, she is just so beatiful, I think it's unfair that she was labelled as 'boring', her character was developing, she was such a nice person, she never bitched about anyone, she is so natural and I never felt she was as vain as most of the others in there. I will miss you Maysoon, thank you for being such a lovely addition to the house for four weeks, I will miss you so much and I hope you do really well on the outside.   252. Smart girl; she picks her spots then usually says something wise and to the point. I admired the fact that she was not drawn into saying who she would push off a cliff to the rest of the Heavenly housemates; even though she risk being labelled another Rachel. Why would anybody want to push anybody else off a cliff? I see Luke & Bex had no problems with this. I expect that we will begin to see her assert herself more and more as the weeks go by (and I expect her to be around for many more weeks).

Really proving the beauty and brains do go together.   377. This girl is class. She is my fav of the noobs to enter BB house. Last night with Darnell they were throwing stuff at B block, it was hysterical, especially given that the hellians were telling ghostly tales in the dark. To see Bex and Luke fill their pants when Maysoons doughnut hit the shutter was tv gold. She showed us all what a pair of flapjacks Bex and Luke really are. Best Check those sheets this morning lukey boy. Abd what a shot too, the girl has skill. I loved the way it jumped up a notch with Darnell. Good job there wasnt a tv in there or that would have been next. Top Maysoon moment!

  379. Sorry, but could someone explain why the fact she may or not be married is at all relevant to her being in the house ?? She seems to interact a lot better in smaller groups and seems a lot more shy within larger groups. Not necessarily surprised since there are other people who try and demand the attention / spotlight. Not sure about people critising her model credentials etc... there are different types of modeling and the sort of clothes she wears on shoots is probably different from day to day stuff. I mean, how often do you see one of the supermodels walking down the street wearing some designer clothes that can only be worn on a catwalk ?

  380. i think masoon is a pleasant housemate, i would prefer to live with someone who took their time to get to know everyone, than someone like sara who is always in your face. To reply to sarah's comment, what exactly does a model dress like? Actually if anything they wear plain tops and jeans all the time. This is the big brother house, its about being yourself and having fun. Dressing up like sylvia, and putting your face on every morning like lisa, is not being yourself.

  448. i think maysoon is one of the most genuine housemate big brother has ever had. she doesn't get dragged into the petty arguments nor does she play up to the camera's. she polite and just a really nice girl. yes she's a model and very good looking. but she doesn't rub that in any one's face. she speaks to every one and really takes an intrest in everyone. she's a great girl and i would really like to see her win!!!! Brilliant Big Brother, I was getting so glad that already the 'bad guys' were leaving one after the other, and you entered the lovely Maysoon, my Irish friends (males) have all been calling me here in belfast about her, that she is beautiful and lovely, but i think by introducing her, big brother has also done a great job in the sense that in todays world where media mostly covers the extreme elements of societies especially Islamic nations, and we Muslims feel it really badly, big brother iis showing the worls that there are people like Mo , Jermaine Jackson n Maysoon, who are Muslims and live as peacefully as anyone else. three cheers for big brother.........
