Interview: Joe Dempsie

E4's brightest young thing stops by for a natter..
We grabbed actor Joe Dempsie fresh from the new hot new E4 show 'Skins' for a quick chat..
What's Joe enjoying most about Celebrity Big Brother this time around? "Jermaine. I think he is so funny. Just to watch him go through his normal daily routine. I could watch Jermaine make a cup of tea and it would probably make me laugh.. It's amazing that a Jackson's in the House. Unbelievable. They did that thing the other week, the battle of the bands, Steps versus the Jackson Five. How was there ever going to be another winner! It was a foregone conclusion."
Give that he plays a party animal in Skins, which housemate could Jo imagine going partying with? "Jermaine is my answer to every question! Maybe Dirk if he still has some of his A-Team prowess about him. I'm not quite sure as he is getting on a bit now, but he would have been handy back in the 80's."
Could anyone in the house play your character? "I think Danielle tends to get very hammered quite easily which is something that you'd do as a teenager. So she might fit in very well to the group.. I do fancy Danielle, but I have to admit I'm not to sure about whether I could stand her for too long.."
With cunning psychic powers, Joe predicted Cleo and Jo would soon be gone: "I think Jo didn't come across well earlier on and I don't think she has done herself any favours since, the way she's been carrying on with Dirk. I don't think Dirk has done himself any favours being a grumpy man, but still she has been seeing how far she can go with him. As for Cleo, she has been trying too hard to be funny at times and it's been really hard to watch."
So who would he like to see win? "Dirk third, Shilpa second and the mighty Jermaine first!"
We'll just have to wait and see, Joe..
