Ticket Mania
Saturday 27 May
Day 10, 18:47
The race for a place in the BB7 house is well and truly on, as the latest winner makes their claim for a chance at Big Brother stardom.
Adam, a 22 year-old support worker from Bristol, couldn't believe his luck when he was chatting to a friend on their doorstep whilst opening his KitKat and out fell the Golden Ticket.
"I was a little bit shocked to say the least when I found my Golden Ticket" said an excitable Adam; "It seemed a big coincidence my friend had Jade Goody's autobiography in her hand at the time."
Home support worker Adam has always wanted a taste of stardom, with childhood dreams of being a TV presenter or actor.
"I love the idea of being famous!" he said, "The guys I look after would love it, they'd go crazy to see me on TV."
Adam thinks his spontaneous personality could bring laughs and arguments to the house, because he likes to go crazy when he gets bored.
"I think I'd get on with George because we are at two different ends of the social scale, and Imogen because she's quite pleasing on the eye. But Sezer needs to realise he's not as great as he thinks he is, I'd probably say to him 'Mate, you're a little bit cocky," he quipped.
Despite his friends and family telling him to sell the Golden Ticket, Adam decided the experience would be worth more to him than the money, likening it to 'the best day of his life,' when he was nine years old and met Mr Blobby.
But what qualities does he have that would make him a good housemate?
" I have long toes, they're like the claws you get at theme parks, to grab teddies. I also have quite stretchy skin on my face which I can gross people out with!"
And would he be in it to win it?
"I would love to win it, I think everybody would. The people who say they wouldn't are just lying."
