Week One Nominations

In week one, thirteen housemates went into the Diary Room thinking they were nominating the two housemates they most want to be evicted from the House.

However, what twelve of the housemates didn't know was that on the first Friday, Big Brother gave Makosi a secret mission.

If she or any other housemate/housemates receive the most nominations from the rest of the House they would automatically be immune from week one's eviction.

Makosi succeeded in her mission after gaining four nominations from her fellow housemates, so, she, along with Roberto and Sam (who also received four nominations each), were saved from eviction in week one.

However, in a surprise twist, Makosi was called to the Diary Room and told to choose two people to face the public vote. She chose Craig and Mary.

But in the first nominations, who actually voted for whom? Here's the breakdown...

Anthony: Derek and Makosi

Craig: Makosi and Kemal

Derek: Sam and Saskia

Kemal: Maxwell and Sam

Lesley: Sam and Makosi

Makosi: Roberto and Anthony

Mary: Saskia and Roberto

Maxwell: Makosi and Vanessa

Roberto: Science and Vanessa

Sam: Vanessa and Derek

Saskia: Mary and Craig

Lesley was the only housemate to receive no nominations.

Each housemate had to give a valid reason for their choice of nominees, and failure to do so could have resulted in an official warning from Big Brother. Comments included:

Anthony nominated Derek because, "he's implied that I'm thick which I think is rude." He also voted for Makosi because, "she's self-centred and a selfish person."

Craig nominated Makosi because, "recently I found her to be quite deceiving," and Kemal because "he's quite conniving."
Derek nominated Sam because, "she wears a smile like a mask. She is an assassin." He voted for Saskia because, "I do believe it's morally wrong to substitute boobs for thought."

Kemal nominated Maxwell because, "he cannot realise when he is wrong." He voted for Sam because, "I feel I haven't fully clicked with her and I'm suspicious of her."

Lesley nominated Sam because, "I knew from day one I wasn't gonna like her and I know I will never like her." She voted for Makosi because, "all the lies are just too much."

Makosi nominated Roberto because, "I don't think he likes cooking - he only does it because he wants to be loved." She voted for Anthony because, "he is licking ass."

Mary nominated Saskia because, "I believe she's too aware of the image she portrays." She voted for Roberto because, "maybe he's not all what he seems."

Maxwell nominated Makosi because, "she's been lying about stuff and making things up to wind everyone up." He voted for Vanessa because, "the only thing I know about her is that she wears pink."

Roberto nominated Science because, "he's a little bit cocky and arrogant." He also voted for Vanessa because, "for some reason she hasn't made the effort to come and have a talk."

Sam nominated Vanessa because, "she doesn't contribute to the group at all - she just sits there." She also voted for Derek because, "I find him boring and quite rude at times."

Saskia nominated Mary because, "sometimes I find it a bit freaky, I can't work her out, she's a bit odd." She voted for Craig because, "he is only twenty and I find him quite young and quite immature."

Science nominated Roberto because, "he's an idiot, he says things that don't make sense." He voted for Maxwell because, "I'm voting for him before he votes for me. He could be one of the two-faced ones."

Vanessa nominated Sam because, "I catch her giving me evil looks all the time and I don't like it." She voted for Roberto because, "I haven't spoken to him much, but when I speak to him I feel he's patronising."
