Even a super cook would find it hard to rustle up a meal for 12 on the new oven, which is one of the smallest ever used on Big Brother.
There's a spiky, quirky theme to the kitchen, with a tile design of fractured, broken ceramics. In stark and bold colours of blue, black and white, the tiles look as if they've exploded and miraculously stuck to the walls.
One of the strangest motifs is the cluster of severed hands creeping up one of the walls. The designers say it's a play on words - 'Many hands make light work' - an attempt to shame lazy housemates into doing their fair share of the cooking and other chores.
There's also a well-stocked beer fridge. This is padlocked, although the housemates will have control over the amount of booze coming out of it. No prizes for guessing that this will probably be the favourite spot in the House...
