Diary Room
The warm, inviting red of this room is intended to give it a womb-like feel. A place that is a refuge from the madness of life in the House and where housemates can let off steam and share their deepest, darkest secrets - with millions of viewers.
The only things in the room that aren't blood red are the blue panels on the padded walls. These ceramic tiles form a pyramid shape and echo the blocks and rectangle designs in the rest of the House.
Soft, directional lighting creates an inviting, confessional ambience, illuminating the all-important Big Brother chair, which is connected to the wall.
The chair was specially created by the design team and made by furniture company 2D3D, who were sworn to secrecy during its creation.
Although housemates will be coming into the Diary Room individually to share their thoughts, the chair has been designed to seat three people comfortably.
So watch out for new best friends coming in together, asking or pleading for booze and other desirables...
