The events of the evening are clearly taking their toll on Daniel. Just a few hours after Vanessa got the boot, he headed to the Diary Room to discuss his feelings about remaining in the House.
The hairdresser professed to mixed emotions in the wake of the beautiful blonde's departure, with the booing crowd in particular playing on his mind.
"No one's going to be able to sleep after hearing that..." he started hesitantly. "That awful noise... Vanessa didn't deserve that," he finished glumly.
Describing his non-eviction as "an anti-climax" he speculated that there may only have been a few votes between him and V. The marvellously modest mane-tamer couldn't have been more wrong - only 14% voted for him.

Sounding almost ungrateful that he'd escaped eviction, he sighed, "I've got to get my head around being in here for another week now."
"Shell's gonna need some support," he decided, pondering the changed dynamics of the group. And he also thinks Jason will take it badly.
He darkly warned that he would be "fighting Vanessa's corner" if anyone suggested that the archery champion was scheming, which led neatly on to an oblique suggestion that he found Nadia and Marco difficult to deal with.
After telling the all-powerful one that the evening's events had left his stomach in knots, he dropped an elephant-sized hint as to what might help him sleep. "I could murder a glass of wine," he whined, "I think everybody could."
Asked if he had anything else to get off his chest, Daniel was back on typically biting form.
Snapping out of his dejected reverie, he retorted, "Yeah... your PA system crackles - I think you've got a loose connection somewhere."
Glad to see he's got things in perspective.
