The news that Michelle and Emma were leaving was met by hugging, stunned faces and the odd tear or two.
Emma looked philosophical as she was consoled by Nadia, but Michelle looked blank, like she had been sentenced to death, before being mobbed by Stuart, Nadia and Emma.
But the most stunned housemate of all was Ahmed. "What's going on?" he mumbled as Jason put his arm round him. Ahmed looked simply confused. He couldn't believe he had survived the vote.
"It's outrageous," was Dan's comment.
Poor Marco took it harder than anyone. He held his face in his hands and had to be supported by Nadia he was so upset.
Emma ran round shouting "It's alright! It's alright!" as Michelle grabbed a last, loving snog with her chicken, Stu.

As Big Brother counted down the seconds for them to leave the House, Marco waved and shouted, "I love you!" with tears in his eyes, while Nadia blew the departing pair kisses.
With the door shut behind them Stuart slumped down on the sofa, bemused and unnerved. "Numb's the word at the moment," he mumbled.
Minutes earlier Davina told viewers the housemates had some suspicions about a bedsit. But they still had no idea their former housemates would both be moving into a bedsit within the Big Brother House. Nor did they know they would be working for Big Brother to target more evil at the housemates.
Shell tried to cheer them up saying one of them would be in a nice bedsit with a margarita and some music. She's obviously never been in a bedsit before.
"You're the favourite now," Victor told the still stunned Ahmed.
But Dan summed up the mood best. "I think I need some alcohol," he admitted.
