The Moth Of Dan Day 30, 16:59 Saturday 26 June
Six-foot five inch Daniel has made it his mission to overcome a fear of moths.
The condition - known by medical experts as mottephobia - has affected the hairdresser for as long as he can remember. But the omnipresence of one particularly large cloth-eating creature in the Big Brother garden has given Dan the drive he needs to overcome the fear.
"There is the biggest moth that anybody has ever seen in their lives, hanging above the Jacuzzi," he told Big Brother in the Diary Room.
"It's so cute and beautiful and the markings on his or her wings...I can appreciate that," he explained. "But the minute they take to flight...I run screaming."

Nevertheless, the Capricorn vowed to not let the light bulb-loving creature spoil his fun, and left the Diary Room swearing to befriend the offending moth - which Dan described as "furry", with wings "about two centimetres in length" and larger than your average "humming bird".
True to his word, the lanky DJ ambled over to the Jacuzzi and cautiously looked the hanging insect in the eye.
Taking a deep breath, he stepped down and went off in search of a friend to confide in.
After listening sympathetically Stuart advised Dan to spend as much time in the company of moths as possible, in the hope of desensitising himself to their "unpredictable flight" and the way in which they "invade personal space".
"Yeah, like with porn," Dan mused. "If you've got the same one, it fails to stimulate you."
