The Big Brother runner-up spoke to us about meeting up with his birth mother, who gave him up for adoption when he was two years old.
Jason has spoken to Jane Astrauskas, who gave birth to him when she was 15 years old.
"It's a private matter," said Jason. "I've talked to her on the telephone. I'm looking forward to meeting her although it's a bit strange."
During Big Brother, Jason told his fellow housemates he wanted to make contact with her.
In their telephone conversation, his mother was tearful, revealed Jason. "She was emotional," he said.
In contrast, Jason was left with mixed feelings. "The lady is a stranger," he said matter-of-factly. "But I am keen to ask her some questions."
Jason has waited for the right moment to see his birth mother, wanting some time alone after his Big Brother experience.
Seems like the time is ripe...
