The Davina Interview: Vanessa

Friday 25 June
Vanessa left the Big Brother House this evening to boos. Safely passed the baying crowds, Vanessa told Davina about her time in the House.
Davina: How was it coming out?
Vanessa: Mmmm, the booing and stuff, you've just gotta take it in your stride.
Davina: You were the first to be voted out by the public, but still you had four weeks in the House.
Vanessa: Yeah, I've had a good run. I'm pretty pleased.
Davina: Having seen the videos of who nominated you, are you surprised?
Vanessa: You can't please everyone and that 's fine. Victor can't handle blondes.
Davina: Now we don't wanna go over it too much but the fight - how are people coping?
Vanessa: Once we did all our apologising, we had to get over it. I mean the first day I didn't speak to Nadia 'cos we had the massive row and everything. But you can't live with that amount of tension. Nadia and I are actually very similar. Not looking-wise, I don't have the false boobs!
Davina: Can I tell you something? Nadia used to be a man.
Vanessa: No. Never. Are you serious? No!
Davina: Now, you did look a bit shocked when Emma and Michelle came back in the House. How did you really feel?
Vanessa: I was quite pleased to see Emma. Michelle had no effect on me at all.
Davina: Tell me, what was going on with Jason? Do you fancy him?
Vanessa: A bit. He's a really lovely guy. I'm not quite sure. I think he likes his bum more than I do.

Davina: You were steadfast in your resolve to not do anything with Jay and then there was that one night - up against the wall!
Vanessa: I blame it on the beer goggles....It's been a long time!
Davina: Are you going to see him out of the House? What does your mum think? (Davina turns to Vanessa's mum)
Vanessa's mum: No, no.
Davina: You were quite self conscious about the cameras. Was it hard to just say 'I fancy you, I wanna snog you?'
Vanessa: Yeah. I think also Nadia was jealous about the closeness that we had. The snide looks I would get. And she said she came into the House to find love.
Davina: If you could nominate, who would it be?
Vanessa: Nadia. Because we are similar and we don't always see eye to eye. And Freddy Kruger - you know, Marco! Because he thought Dan and I were in cahoots.
Davina: Having seen your best bits, how do you feel?
Vanessa: It just went so fast. I'm really sad to have left.
