Jon calls himself "a student of people" but in a chat with Cameron, the things he'll miss most aren't even human.
"I'm very much afraid that I won't remember what the cameras sound like when they whirr round. Little things like that," said the logical data man.
Cameron agreed with him in a moment of mechanical bonding. He will remember "the blades on the air conditioner in the Diary Room."
The silver-haired Scot then growled: "hhuurrrrrrrrr!"
Meanwhile, Jon continued fretting about his poor short-term memory. "I won't remember where all the plants were," he said with regret.
"But I'll remember the lily," he added cheerily.
And does the brains from Staines wish he'd spent more time getting to know his housemates or engaged in some highly stimulating activity?
Well, not quite. "I wish I'd spent more time on the sun lounge," he muttered.
Cameron commiserated with him saying, "We've got more than just memories and photos to back us up," he suggested.
Maybe the Highlander will be investing in videos of the entire show and invite Jon round for tea to reminisce about the 36 cameras.
