Steph has confided to Nush that she is upset that they are the only girls left in the House after Lisa's departure and the re-introduction of Jon.
"To be honest," began Steph as the two were lolling in the garden, "Jon coming freaked me out because it's just you and me left."
"Are you worried, why?" asked Nush.
"It means a lot to me to have a girl bond thing and I'm different to you. I'm relaxed in male company but you're much more than I am - in a completely different sense - and I feel that."
But Steph's concerns were as much about the type of female company she is left with than the amount.
"We're very different in lots of respect and I think, 'Oh my God, another man,' and I feel outnumbered because you're more like a..."
At this point, just as Steph was about to complete her sentence with the word "man", Nush interrupted her.
"Yeah I can see it."
"Do you understand?" Steph asked. "It's not your fault. The dynamic of the group has changed again. And it's madness when you think about when Lisa was here. But that's different again because I'm not saying I had that with Lisa."
Nush could understand though. "The first thing I said to Scott [when Lisa left] was, 'There's just two of us.' I thought they might bring another girl in. I feel like they've been trying to even it up non-stop."
And with that, the conversation moved on. But will the two remaining women become sisterly or pull each other's hair out?
