Boys room beds
The bedroom's too big without you
Gos: The Big Hole
Day 45, 04:30

The night's Diary Room chats were full of sadness at the departure of Gos.

Cameron and Steph have been checking each other are OK, both clearly sad to see their favourite cheeky chappy head back into the arms of his friends and family.

"Tough," is how Cameron described the evening's eviction, surprisingly likening the evening's events to when Anouska went, largely because Cameron had felt he'd made a mistake and wondered if he were the only one who nominated her.

It's the "cooking and the helping us to cook," his "funny laugh" and his "being cheeky with Steph," he said. "The Dangerous Brothers are no more," added the Orkney lad. Even his bad language wasn't like other people's, said his new best mate.

"He was cheeky to Davina [saying "I don't wanna go"]. It was really nice, and she did respond warmly. How can you not respond warmly to Gos?"

Steph did not go into the Diary Room, but she went to bed early and Cameron talked of her "leaky eye syndrome".

Nush let out her feelings to Big Brother too.

"I spoke to Ray about it and he's been saying the same thing. You have this kind of juxtaposition of sadness and relief and happiness," but sadly for Nush, Steph put a downer on her happiness.

Diary Room downers
Steph's claim that she was "really sad for Gos to go" did little to ease what Nush described as the ongoing "coolness" between her and the Brummie.

That little in-House battle is set to run and run, while Scott gave a moving tribute to Gos, saying his reasons for nominating him had disappeared as Gos seemed to have rallied from his quiet time in the House.

"Gos is just one of those people you cannot help but like," he said.

"The House was really quiet when he left. It was certainly the biggest impact yet," said the Scouser, even admitting that the loss could be bigger than when he lost his mate Fed.

And, the boys agreed, the biggest hole of all, would be his nightime conversation, and in his bed.
