After getting a few things off his chest earlier, Ray entered the tranquil oasis of the Diary Room and has returned a much calmer man.

When it was revealed that the housemates had failed the weekly task, Ray didn't take it terribly well and the air rapidly turned a delicate shade of blue.

After his outburst, the feisty Irish lad visited Big Brother for a moment of reflection and it seems to have done the trick.

While the others were finishing their dinner, Ray emerged with his familiar cheeky smile back in place. "I think that's the longest time I've been in there," he observed, chuckling.

The Galway lad had clearly worked up quite an appetite and, after giving Steph and Sissy a quick run-down in the kitchen, he sat down at the table ready to reveal all.

"Feel better?" enquired Gos and Scott added, "you were in there so long, man."
