Big Brother asked the Dubliner what order he thought the housemates would come out in.
After claiming he didn't have a clue, forthright Ray said: "I don't think I'm going to be going out f****ing last!"
And then he confessed why he didn't dare put his head over the parapet. "Everything I've said in here I've got totally f****ing wrong."
Cameron soon got more information out of the irate Irishman by smiling enigmatically and saying nothing.
To fill the uncomfortable silence, Ray burst out: " If I were to stick me neck out of line, I'd say it's either going to be yourself or Scott."
"It would be brilliant if you were the first Scot to win it," he grinned.
But Cameron shook his head with the benign calm of a Buddha. "You definitely give yourself less chance than you give others," he said modestly.
Ray turned his attention to Steph's chances. "She's too nice to win it," he opined.
Then, fearful that his finest assets would be hung up to dry on the Brummie's washing line, he hastily begged Cam: "Don't tell her I said that. She'll kill me!"
Let's pray that Cam doesn't spill the beans to Steph, otherwise it could be more than tears shed on the final day.
