Task Passed!
Day 55, 20:43
The housemates have passed this week's task...to win a shopping budget of £90 and a post-performance party.
Opera masters Bizet, Mozart, Verdi, Strauss and Delibes may have been turning in their graves, but Big Brother, it appears, was dead impressed with the housemates operatic interpretation of their time in the House.
For the duration of the task the housemates were transformed into Ticklisimo, Camerotti, Stephanici, Nushiano, Raymongo and Scotceli. And it would seem their damn fine take-off of the fight scene from the famous musical Cats, including the use of props and some (over) enthusiastic dancing, led Big Brother to pass the group.
Cameron and Tickle were up first (the former in a tuxedo-style fat suit, the latter wearing more blusher than even Tania would deem excusable). They opened by 'singing' a song about their first hour in the House which paid tribute to every one of the housemates present on the night.
|
Steph and Nush stole the show with their high-pitched song about food. Unfortunately much of its lyric was unfathomable, but the confetti of chickpeas showering down on the dynamic duo gave good effect.
A song about tasks, another about chickens and a further about Steph and Cameron's tendency to rise from their beds early rounded off the duets, leaving only the House ensemble to conclude the piece.
Trained singers they are not, and nowhere was this more apparent than when the group came together to a resounding finale - a song about the Friday night evictions.
With the cat-strangling over, Big Brother took no time at all to announce the performance a gigantic success, and rolled out the booze.
Let's just hope there'll be no drunken singing on this eve. Enough already...
