Eviction Reaction
Day 57, 21:28
The housemates have responded cheerfully and calmly to the announcement that Nush will be the ninth person to leave the House.
Nush herself has taken the news well. The moment Davina said her name, she simply said, "Oh," before jumping up to hug Cameron, offering him an, "Och, no," in a joke Scottish accent. Clearly pleased at the news, Cameron smothered her in several kisses about the face.
Nush's flirt-interest Scott has remained typically tight-lipped on the subject, saying very little to Nush, but congratulating Cameron. "Well done, Cam", he said affectionately. Seconds later, the realisation of what had just happened kicked in. "I've got to get ready, I've got to get ready," she panicked.
Steph gave Cam the heartiest response, with a long, tight hug. But when he asked her to give him five minutes, she put him off. "I need to speak to her [Nush] first 'cos obviously I'm a girl."
Cam's next thought was to the other woman in his life. "My poor mother," he exclaimed. "She'll have to come here next week as well."
Meanwhile, Nush had set about running about the house. Trying to prepare for her big first night out and the all-important interview with Davina. "It's all good, it's all good, it's all good," she repeatedly manically like a speeded-up mantra.
Later, in the girls' bedroom with Steph, she explained that she was content with the news. "I feel much better than I ever thought I would." But the poor girl was still very nervous. "Do you want to see something really funny?" she said, holding her still-shaking hands.
But what will her reception be like at the House gates? And what will she reveal in the interview with Davina?
